1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website or enrolling in any Home Handled plan, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use our services.

2. Services

Deitch Services, LLC provides home maintenance consulting, concierge scheduling, contractor coordination, and digital tools (including the Home Health Dashboard and Home Digest newsletter) under the Home Handled brand. Services are available to residential clients in Montgomery County, MD and surrounding areas.

The scope of services provided depends on your selected plan. We reserve the right to modify, add, or discontinue service features with reasonable notice.

3. Subscriptions & Payment

Plans are billed monthly. Payment is due at the start of each billing cycle. Failure to pay may result in suspension or cancellation of your plan.

Prepaid labor hours included in Total Plan tiers are valid for the subscription year in which they're allocated and do not roll over.

Prices are subject to change. We'll notify you at least 30 days before any rate changes take effect.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — we don't offer prorated refunds for partial months.

Unused prepaid labor hours are non-refundable upon cancellation.

5. Scheduling & Access

Many of our services require in-person access to your home. You agree to provide reasonable access for scheduled visits and to maintain a safe environment for our team. We'll always confirm appointments in advance.

6. Limitation of Liability

Deitch Services, LLC provides recommendations and coordinates services in good faith based on observable home conditions. We are not liable for pre-existing defects, hidden conditions, or work performed by third-party contractors we help coordinate.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the total fees paid in the three months prior to the claim.

7. Third-Party Contractors

When we coordinate work with outside contractors on your behalf, those contractors are independent of Deitch Services, LLC. We do not guarantee their work or assume liability for their performance.

8. Privacy & Data

We collect basic information about you and your home to deliver our services. This includes contact details, home system information, and service history stored in your Home Health Dashboard. We do not sell your data to third parties.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on our website and in our materials — including the Home Digest newsletter — is the property of Deitch Services, LLC. You may not reproduce or distribute it without written permission.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Montgomery County, MD.

13. SMS Messaging & Phone Communications

By providing your phone number to Deitch Services, LLC, you consent to receive SMS text messages and phone calls related to your service plan. This may include appointment reminders, service updates, maintenance alerts, and promotional messages about Home Handled plans.

Message frequency varies based on your plan and scheduled activity. Total Plan clients can expect more frequent touchpoints than Starter Digital subscribers.

Message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier and plan.

You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any text message. You can opt back in by replying START. To opt out of marketing calls, contact us directly at deitchservices.com.

Opting out of SMS or calls does not cancel your service subscription — it only affects how we contact you. Critical service communications may still be sent via email.

We do not share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes.
